We determined what hinders good
vision, and then formulated a proprietary, hard non-glare
coating that reduces certain bright light reflections.
Puzzledesk series BX systems are durable and require
minimal maintenance when used in a normal indoor environment.
Cleaning the surface
Dust with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Wipe dry, with
a dry soft cloth in the direction of the wood grain.
If a cleaner is required, clean the surface with a soft
cloth dampened with a quality cleaner formulated for
wood furniture. Wipe the surface in the direction of
the wood grain to remove dirt and fingerprints. Wipe
dry with a clean, dry cloth.
If a wax is desired
Apply a good quality emulsion wax to the finish with
a soft cloth. Emulsion wax is clear and prevents fingerprints.
Minor repairs
For minor repair of water rings, stains or scratches,
rub the surface lightly in the direction of the wood
grain using No. 000 steel wool (we highly recommended
that you consult a professional). Apply a scratch-removing
polish with a color value that is similar to the natural
hardwood. If the scratches are deep, consult a professional.
